Do any of these situations sound familiar?
Operations that rely on spreadsheets and shared files nobody dares to touch anymore
Off-the-shelf software that only covers part of your needs, so your teams fill in the rest by hand
An idea for a new online service, held back because development seems too long and too expensive
An ageing application where every change takes longer and costs more
An internal tool so fragile that nobody dares to click “Update” anymore
A custom web application solves these situations, provided it rests on solid foundations: an architecture able to support your growth, protected data and code you stay in control of.
You want to replace spreadsheets or ill-suited software with a tool that reflects your processes.
You have spotted a need among your customers and want to turn it into an online service or a new source of revenue.
Example: Motives Solutions, a bilingual anonymous feedback platform for teams.
You connect customers, partners or members, and want to make every exchange smoother.
Example: Meetern connects students, companies and schools through a matching algorithm.
You need a focused tool, delivered quickly, without tying up your IT department for months.
Example: Decathlon and its spare-parts search application for product repair.
Your business has its own rules, and your tools can adapt to them.
All your data in one place, updated automatically, so you can decide based on reliable figures.

For more than two years, we have been developing our applications with AI agents, in a development cycle we built and proved project after project. The agents produce the code, and our senior developers define the architecture, review every change and decide what goes into production. This method delivers robust business applications at the speed of AI, with the quality and governance that large enterprises demand.
| Stage | What our AI agents do | What our senior developers do |
|---|---|---|
| Scoping | Produce a first mockup within 48 hours | Analyse your needs, your existing tools and your security constraints |
| Architecture | Suggest technical options | Choose the architecture that will stand the test of time |
| Development | Write the code, feature by feature | Review and validate every change |
| Testing and security | Generate and run the tests | Check access rights, data protection and sensitive points |
| Go-live | Prepare the deployment | Approve the release and monitor the first weeks |
For a long time we worked with platforms such as WeWeb, Xano, Bubble or Lovable. Today our teams mainly rely on Cursor, Codex and Claude Code. The code produced is standard, it belongs to you and it is available in your own GitHub repository from day one.
AI tools now let anyone generate an application in a few hours. The result seems to work, but it is often put online without any review: access keys visible in the browser, a database open to everyone, forgotten admin pages, users able to see other people’s data. When the application handles payments or personal data, these flaws are costly, all the more so as attackers also use AI to find them.
What makes the difference is having an experienced developer check what the AI produces.
| Application generated without a developer | Application developed by Kreante | |
|---|---|---|
| Code review | Rarely, if ever | Every change reviewed by a senior developer |
| Data access | Often open by default | Rights defined for each user profile |
| Keys and passwords | Sometimes visible in the browser | Stored server-side, never exposed |
| Testing | Occasional | Systematic before every release |
| GDPR | Rarely anticipated | Taken into account from the design stage |
| After go-live | Nobody to fix the flaws | Monitoring, fixes and maintenance |
For 19 years, AutoCartel has been photographing car dealers’ vehicles across 10 US markets. Its operations relied on generic software: one tool for time tracking, around 400 dollars a month, and another for production and invoicing. They were expensive, did not fit its business and gave no visibility into the photographers’ performance.
After a first MVP that proved the value of the project, we developed CartelOne: a mobile app for the photographers, a web management platform with views by market, a ranking of photographers by their effective hourly rate and automatic import of payroll data. Access is secured through separate roles for photographers, managers and administrators.

The Meetern team started out organising events that brought students and companies together. To grow the concept and take it online, we designed a complete platform: three separate spaces for students, companies and schools, built-in messaging and a matching algorithm. It now has 50 to 100 active users every day.

A web application for finding spare parts to repair products, supporting the circular economy.

A platform that analyses Miami property listings every day, estimates renovation costs with AI and shows the most profitable properties on a map.
You receive a first mockup within 48 hours. Discussions start from something concrete, and everyone quickly knows what the application will look like.
Our developers use AI to speed up the work, and their experience to guarantee its quality. They know what an application in production requires.
Access control, personal data protection, testing before every release: security is part of the specifications from day one.
A single point of contact follows your project from start to finish, in your time zone, and is as invested in it as if it were their own.
Your code, your data and your designs belong to you, in your own repository from day one. If you change providers, you leave with everything.
We validate your objectives from a first mockup, study your existing tools and your security and compliance issues, then set the schedule and budget.
Depending on how far along your project is, we work on your visual identity and above all on the user experience, which decides whether an application is adopted or abandoned.
Our AI agents produce the code; our senior developers define its architecture, review it and validate it at every stage.
Every feature is tested, and access rights and data are checked before anything goes live.
Your application is available on every screen, and we keep supporting it as your business grows.

A web application runs in a browser, like a website, but with interactive features. Your users log into an account, enter and edit data, make payments, communicate with each other or track a case. Behind the interface, a database and business logic make the service work.
It all depends on how your users work.
| Criterion | Web application | Mobile app (iOS and Android) |
|---|---|---|
| Ideal for | Services used at the office or from any device, with no download | Field work, mobility and daily use |
| Strengths | Accessible anywhere, instant updates, good search visibility | Notifications, offline mode, access to phone features |
| Limitation | Limited access to phone features | Publishing on the app stores, two platforms to maintain |
Many projects combine both. For CartelOne, photographers use a mobile app in the field, while managers run the business from a web platform.
AI-assisted development, or agentic development, hands the writing of code to AI agents, supervised at every step by experienced developers. It differs from “vibe coding”, where someone with no technical skills generates an application and puts it online without any checks.
Its main advantage is speed, and therefore cost: a first version comes out in a few weeks instead of several months. Its main risk is delivering poorly structured or poorly protected code, which creates bottlenecks as the business grows. That is why, at Kreante, architecture, code review and security stay in the hands of senior developers.
For your company, this means a custom tool becomes available at a budget and within timeframes once reserved for off-the-shelf software.
Yes, provided the code is reviewed, tested and secured by experienced developers. AI writes fast, but it also reproduces common mistakes, such as poorly protected access or exposed data. At Kreante, no change goes into production without a senior developer’s approval.
At Kreante, a first version starts from €3,900, and a complete platform is priced on a custom quote, based on a scope agreed together in writing.
On top of the development budget come running costs after launch: hosting, subscriptions to the tools used, third-party services such as online payment or email delivery, and maintenance. They depend on the number of users and are worth estimating from the scoping stage.
The first deliverable comes very early: a mockup within 48 hours, during scoping, to validate the direction before setting the schedule. As a benchmark, a first version usually takes 4 to 6 weeks, and a complete platform 8 to 12 weeks, depending on scope.
The ability to scale is prepared from the moment the data architecture is designed. At Kreante, we build every application around three requirements: speed, security and the ability to grow.
In practice, this means a well-structured database, a clear separation between the interface and the business logic, and cloud infrastructure that adapts to traffic.
These requirements cost far less when they are addressed from the design stage than when an application already online has to be reworked.
The French market brings together very different profiles: traditional development studios, agencies specialising in visual tools and teams that develop with AI.
